Our husbands spotted this hotel from the interstate and said, "It will be alright. Went to desk and was told someone would be there in 15 minutes. No one ever came and the desk clerk told us the next morning after we asked that the maintenance man told him he wasn't coming and we could just deal with it. Hallway was nasty and bathroom was so tiny that you could hardly get in there. I'll never listen to hubby about a hotel again!

Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was assuring a woman that the upstairs had much better rooms as they had already been remodeled. I stepped up to the clerk and gave the Organization name the room was held under. We were given keys to the room of the first floor. As we walked in, I noticed there was no refrigerator, no microwave, no alarm clock, no coffee maker and there was a deep hole in the wall from the front door handle crashing into it.
The wall sconces were tilted and shades could not be straightened. But, seeing as we were exhausted, we couldn't worry about that. We planned on taking care of it in the morning. Just the pipe coming from the wall, and the plastic knob for water pressure was full of mold. We called down to front desk, and were told maintenance would come to repair in minutes. We waited over half an hour, no one showed up. Went down first to front desk to ask when shower would be fixed They replied, "In 15 minutes, Madam," I went to breakfast room where the stale English Muffins, dry loafs of bread and poor quality coffee were available.
